The more you do it, the more you benefit.
I have been asked to have some more sessions. I am starting a new class on Tuesday evening at the Dalhousie Community Centre. Woohoo!
We started of 2019 saying it is time to start doing something fun for yourself. You deserve it. I like to say, “if you’re having fun, it’s not exercise” and you will have fun in one of my Essentrics classes. Join the movement for those 50+ who want to challenge themselves in their level of fitness, or move in a relaxed manner. Either way you will feel so much better at the end of my class.
We’ll enjoy playlists of music that “our generation” knows and likes. You will be guided through a 55-minute no impact, gentle and yet challenging Vital 1 Fitness class. All you need to bring is an exercise mat and an exercise band.
Whether you have been inactive, are recovering from an injury, or are fit and want to improve your flexibility and balance, come as you are to this safe and supportive group. Be energized and feel the therapeutic benefits of the fluid, rotational movements that promote strength and flexibility.
This is how I am fulfilling my wish; to help and encourage those 50+ like myself to age well through Essentrics.
Essentrics was developed by Miranda Esmonde-White, the creator of “Classical Stretch” on PBS, and the bestselling author of “Aging Backwards” and “Forever Painless”.
